Fijian Real Estate Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates this website as a marketplace for buying, renting and listing property in Fiji and internationally. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

02 Information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry and run the marketplace:

Details you give us — your name, the subject of your enquiry and your message when you use a contact or enquiry form.
Account details — if you register to list a property, the username, email address and profile details held against your account.
Listing content — property descriptions, prices, locations and images you submit for publication.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page, collected automatically by our server logs.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and we do not ask for payment card details through this website.

03 How we use your information

To respond to enquiries and put you in touch with the right broker.
To create and administer your account and publish the listings you submit.
To keep the site secure, prevent spam and diagnose technical problems.
To meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations in Fiji.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.

04 Sharing your information

We share personal information only where it is necessary: with the broker or agent handling your enquiry; with service providers who host this website or deliver our email on our behalf; and with regulators, courts or law enforcement where the law requires it.

Anything you publish in a listing — including descriptions, photographs and the contact details you choose to display — is visible to the public.

05 How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up on your property search. Account and listing records are kept for as long as the account is active, and afterwards only for the period required by Fijian tax and record-keeping law. Server logs are rotated regularly.

06 Security

Traffic to this website is encrypted in transit, access to account data is restricted to staff who need it, and passwords are stored in hashed form. No website can promise perfect security, so please do not send sensitive documents such as passports or bank statements through the enquiry form — we will tell you a secure way to send them if they are needed.

07 Your rights

You can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date.
Delete your account and the information attached to it.
Stop sending you marketing or follow-up messages.
